A note from France: Kahoy: The Filipino word for wood. These pieces truly bring me back home across the Pacific, to a childhood where wood filled the houses that I grew up in and frequented-- from my parents' house to an aunt's home away from the city which we would spend our summers in. It is in those homes that I learned to appreciate the beauty of wood and all of its perfect imperfections.

Handcarved from Philippine hambaba wood, these small round dishes are food safe. Sold in sets of three, use them for condiments, as catchalls for your trinkets and small bedside items, for grounding objects to create a vignette, serve candies, etc. These dishes are small. Please read dimensions for size of each dish. Due to the handmade nature of this product, each dish varies in color and grain. Actual dishes may differ in grain and texture in person from photos.
