  • A note from France: Japanese artistry and their respect for their artisans and the traditions they practice have always fascinated me. When I stumbled upon Suzugami (or "tin paper") by Syoruyu from Takaoka, Japan, I knew I had to add them to Lu France Interiors' curated pieces. Syoruyu has been known for manufacturing Orin Bowls (or singing bowls) for Buddhist temples since 1909. There are only 10 orin artisans in Japan and 3 of them are in the Syoruyu workshop. These beautiful Suzugami tablewares are their workshop's signature products.
