A note from France: Back in 2016, I visited Vietnam (Hanoi) for a few days. I've never been prior to that trip and yet during that one visit, it easily became my favorite Asian country trip. As a tourist, I looked at everything in awe and tried as much as I could- food, coffee, biking in their fields, a boat ride in the river, exploring their markets, and shopping handcrafted, locally made goods. The craftsmanship of their local artisans and artists are amazing and I remember how proud they were when I asked about their work. Fast forward to 2024, a friend of mine opened an office for her company in Saigon and connected me with a group of LGBTQ+ ceramicists and artists who teach pottery and sell their wares out of a small studio they all shared. They make unique handcrafted pieces that have so much texture and I knew I just had to carry them in LFI's curated collection. I'm proud to share some of their work- imperfectly perfect wares for your home.
