SORBETES Silk Crepe (long 89")

Out of Stock
  • A note from France: Sorbetes ( A Filipino word for ice cream; a traditional Filipino ice cream. This soft hued, colorful piece was inspired  by the sorbetes, also often called "dirty ice cream" because it is sold in colorful carts on the street. Have you tried it? My favorite flavors are ube and queso (cheese) and it's something I crave for once summer hits.

This 100% silk crepe de chine scarf with a hand rolled hem is dyed with marigolds, walnut grounds, chestnut, lac, madder, Himalayan rhubarb, acacia, and iron. Please take note that silk crepe is sheer and has a subtle sheen.  Actual colors may vary slightly in person. Due to its handmade nature, there may be imperfect patterns or marks on the textile making every piece uniquely beautiful. This piece has been prewashed. Visit the FAQ page to learn more about natural dyes and textiles. Naturally dyed in San Diego, California.
