SIYESTA Silk Crepe (long 71")

Out of Stock
  • A note from France: Siyesta (si.yes.ta)- Derived from the Spanish word siesta, siyesta is a Filipino word that means noontime nap or a brief nap after the noon meal. The muted, calming hues of this piece were inspired by childhood siyestas. Whether those were really meant to help growth and development for me and my sisters or a moment for our nannies and Lola to rest... I'm still not sure! Probably the latter though, right? :)

This 100% silk crepe de chine scarf with a hand rolled hem is dyed with marigolds, walnut groundschestnut, Himalayan rhubarb, cutch, madder, and iron. Please take note that silk crepe is sheer and has a subtle sheen.  Actual colors may vary slightly in person. Due to its handmade nature, there may be imperfect patterns or marks on the textile making every piece uniquely beautiful. This piece has been prewashed. Visit the FAQ page to learn more about natural dyes and textiles. Naturally dyed in San Diego, California.
