A note from France: I stumbled upon Bloomfield Hills, Michigan based brand Variously through my continuous research for brands that believe in sustainability and fair trade practices while upholding and honoring time honored traditions and processes of artisans and their crafts. Variously embodies that and more-- they work directly and ethically with 3rd and 4th generation artisans, 80% of whom are women. Woman owned and led, they were chosen as the Artist in Residency for Eileen Fisher Store in Michigan for 2018 and their short documentaries on textile work and more have been chosen at LA Fashion Film Festival 2019 and Fashion Film Festival Milan 2019. I'm so excited to carry this piece in my store with more to come.
