A note from France: Yugto - (noun) yugtô || Translated to English, this word means phase, chapter, stage, a fundamental transition or development of a story or phenomenon. With colors inspired by the country I now call home, I originally named this textile America as part of another collection before deciding to include it in this collection instead. Felt appropriate, it felt right. Maybe you just moved to the US, just left a life you've always known in the Philippines or the country you may have first called home, this piece represents the next phase. I moved here more than a decade ago and sometimes it still feels strange but in all days, it feels like home. If you haven't yet, I hope you find that sense of home here too. Trust this chapter, embrace this yugto.
This 100% cotton textile is hand dyed with logwood chips and madder roots. Please take note that this piece is approximately 23" x 24" and would be too small for a scarf. It is best used as a bandana, headband, or wall art. Hemmed.
Naturally dyed in San Diego, California, every piece of Lu France Interiors textile is one of a kind. Actual colors may vary slightly in person. Due to its handmade nature, there may be imperfectly perfect patterns or marks on the textile making every piece uniquely beautiful.
